Description
During our everyday life our nose is strongly exposed to the pollution in the air we breathe in. The density of the pollution in our environment grows constantly day by day and it entangles on to our nasal mucous membrane while we breathe in. The season for viruses, house dust and much other suspended matter in the air is all-year.

The nasal douche also known as Neti, is a perfect instrument to give your nose a break and release it from soiling by self-treatment. By cleansing your nose with a nasal douche frequently, you will counteract against dry mucous membranes and diminish irritations or allergic reactions by pollen or other small particles. Further symptoms which can be treated with the nasal shower are prickle and itch in the nose as well as frequent sneeze. Nasal rinses with the nasal douche are meanwhile established for the prevention of colds and inflamed sinuses.

Nasal douche are beneficial:
• in case of allergy to house dust, mite and pollen
• as prevention of cold
• in case of a sinusitis
• in case of a dry nose and encrustation

Preparation of the salt solution: Put a measuring spoonful of halit nasal douche salt into the container and fill it up to the marking with lukewarm water. Place your index finger on the opening in the closing lid. Swivel the container slightly to dissolve the halit nasal douche salt. The isotonic solution thus develops corresponding to the same concentration of salt as in natural tear or blood.
One measure spoon contains about 1.8 grams halit salt. With this 250 grams halit salt, you are able to prepare about 130 salt solutions.

Application: Bend over washbasin with the head tilted to one side and hold the douche opening against one nostril. Breathe through your slightly open mouth. Remove your finger from the opening of the closing lid. The isotonic solution now washes the nasal mucous membranes and runs out through the other nostril. After you have used the half solution, use the left solution for the other nostril. Turn the head over and do same on your other nostril in opposite direction.
