It is certified to the highest Oeko-Tex Standard 100, Class I, which guarantee the safety for skin contact even for baby products. For the production of the yoga mat only environmentally friendly materials were used and the manufacturer works entirely with efficient, renewable energy.
The smell is different from the conventional rubber yoga mats because the helloSun yoga mats are produced using a new method. This new scent is no longer perceived by most people as annoying and it abates after a few weeks.
Note:
The manufacturer recommends to expose the yoga mat not to direct sunlight, as the colour can fade. Clean the yoga mat regularly with a Yoga Mat Cleaner to keep the yoga mat's strong grip. We also point out that there may be changes in colour when you wash the mat in the machine.

Due to the extreme slip resistance, it is recommended to use for this mat a bag with opening on the long side.
