In the Western world, Gua Sha is mainly used in relaxing and draining applications. These can be done on the whole body; especially popular is the treatment on the face.

Application: On the gently oiled skin the Gua Sha is moved in 10cm long strokes. The pressure is slightly increased. The Gua Sha should be moved carefully along the muscles from the inside to the outside, always moving away from the nose.
Tip: Gua Sha can also be used under the shower, after a stressful day at work.
Cleaning: The stone can be rinsed under clear, running water after each application. Dab with a soft towel or allow to air dry.
