Another milestone of Klaus Wiese in the singing bowls compositions. For this album, Klaus Wiese put together a selection of 50 discordant bowls and recorded the session live, no cuts or fades! A true masterpiece!
It's hard to imagine what efforts on such a production must be done: from over 50 bowls, Klaus Wiese selected those that sound well together. Next, spend hours experimenting, as the microphones are set to ensure that the harmony can be taken in unison. Then almost 70 (seventy) hours of highly focused shots are followed, usually after midnight and Klaus Wiese was finally satisfied. This is one of only a very few CDs by Klaus Wiese that has almost 60 minutes without interruption – recorded live and uncut with pure singing bowl meditation character.
Klaus Wiese, born in Ulm, Germany, is known as the minimalist musician who uses exotic instruments such as bowls for the mystical elements in his music. He combines the musical elements of the East with those of the West in his compositions and has performed with artists such as Ted De Jong, Al Gromer Khan and Mathias Grassow. The music of Klaus Wiese is often used in therapeutic areas as it develops a relaxing and healing effect.
