The skin-soothing hydrolate, which is obtained from the lavender plant by steam distillation, also helps to reduce the swelling of insect bites and is suitable for the care of impure, oily skin or acne. Lavender water is also ideal as a soothing aftershave.
Surprised by the scent of lavender water?
The smell of the hydrolate does not immediately reveal the connection to the essential lavender oil, as the water-soluble, fragrance-giving ingredients in lavender water differ from the fat-soluble, fragrance-giving ingredients of the essential oil. This is why genuine organic lavender water sometimes smells more like hay or herbaceous-sweet and not so strongly of lavender. TIP: If the scent is too herbaceous, you can simply add 3-5 drops of essential oil. The essential oils lavender fine organic or a fresh citrus or tree oil are well suited for this. Shake well before each use.
Application: Spray onto skin for facial and body care. Can be applied over make-up. Also suitable for wraps and compresses.

After Sun Care: Sprinkle sun-drenched skin with organic lavender water and massage in Aloe Vera oil bio. The oil can also be mixed 1:1 directly into the spray bottle of the water. Before use, a moisturising spontaneous emulsion is created which can be sprayed directly onto the skin.
Shaving water: Drop up to 5 drops of organic sandalwood and 2 drops of organic cedar into 100 ml organic lavender water. Shave well before use, then after shaving, burst onto the skin.
