Shakticards is an edition of postcards, posters, calendars and other products designed by artist Shakti Silke de Sousa. Shakticards are inspired by the timeless wisdom of yoga and the romance of the fairy world. The word "Shakti" comes from ancient Indian Sanskrit and refers to the primordial, feminine, creative and manifesting energy.
Shakticards effectively enchant and create powerful and serene vibrations. It is a joy to give or receive, buy or sell Shakticards!
Silke de Sousa was born in 1965 and grew up in a small village in the beautiful Vogtland region of Saxony in eastern Germany. Painting and drawing was a way for her to escape the seriousness of life. Later she became a graphic designer and had a small studio in Berlin. At the age of 32, Silke got to know yoga. This changed her life, at first slowly, later stormily and thoroughly! Now she is in her late 40s and has arrived in many ways. Many things have come loose in the storm. What has remained is the simple and natural, gratitude, the joy of a simple, healthy and authentic life. This includes yoga, healthy eating, clarity and courage to do what brings you joy. For example, painting these pictures, sitting under a tree and dreaming, delighting yourself and others with super delicious and healthy delicacies....
